Description: School introducing the new international research programme on Surface Ocean-Lower Atmosphere Study (SOLAS). SOLAS aims to achieve quantitative understanding of the key biogeochemical-physical interactions and feedbacks between the ocean and the atmosphere, and how this coupled system affects and is affected by climate and environmental changes. The school is intended for graduate students at all levels in environmental and pure sciences, with interests in air-sea interactions.
